Updates

This has been a bad week for posting. Just terrible! So was last week!

But they have not been bad weeks for acting-activity.

I signed up to audition for the generals at a professional theater, and also the major annual regional auditions. 150+ auditors from Equity and non-Equity theaters coming to check out new talent. Exciting! Scary!

I'm taking a seminar on Saturday to prepare for said big auditions. The woman running things is a casting director and seems pretty legit, and it's only $10, so what the hey– now if I don't succeed I can blame her advice instead of myself!

I got to audition for Neil Simon's Rumors. I got called back, and even though I didn't get cast, the people on the production knew my name and used it during the callback. The people were really cool, and I'm sad I didn't get cast, but I could honestly feel them seriously considering me, as opposed to feeling like I was there because they honestly couldn't remember my first audition and wanted to double-check.

Feature filming is happening on Sunday. I look forward to providing Tales from the Set.
