Whoops

Here's something I never anticipated: getting a serious sore throat the day before the Big Audition. I've been drinking tea all day, but it's still really painful, so I'm trying to avoid talking if I can. Which puts a slight damper on my last-minute rehearsing and preparation.

The good news? I'm coming in on my pieces at 1:58 seconds. I might trim a few words just to be on the safe side. And I'm still worried I'm going to get in there and blank on one of my pieces. The only good thing? I've finished up most of my day-job work for the week, so I can do a little bit of prepping tomorrow.

And then I have another big audition next week, and that weekend, and I still need to find a couple more monologues to labor over. . .
